Case 1: The patient underwent excision of a large skin cancer of the back of the neck. The patient is shown immediately after markings of the anticipated wide local excision are placed, and at follow up in clinic 3 weeks later.

Case 2: The patient underwent excision of a skin cancer of the back of the neck. Nearby tissue is moved to close the defect, and a temporary drain is placed at the conclusion of the operation. The patient is also seen after removal of the staples in clinic follow up.
