Dr. Ng is a board certified plastic surgeon with additional subspecialty fellowship training. She is eager to meet you to help you reach your aesthetic and reconstructive goals!
I grew up in both California and in Canada. After completing my undergraduate studies at York University in Toronto, followed
by medical school at the University of Western Ontario, my full plastic surgery residency took place at McMaster University. I moved to Phoenix,
Arizona for a year-long additional subspecialty fellowship in hand surgery before moving back to California. I am certified by the Royal College of Physicians and
Surgeons of Canada, as well as by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
As a former full time Assistant Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of California Irvine
in Orange County for almost 3 years, I taught the next generation of plastic surgeons as the Assistant Director of the Plastic Surgery
residency program. I also served as Co-Director of Hand Surgery for the Department of Plastic Surgery. In addition, at the VA Hospital
in Long Beach, I provide upper extremity restoration reconstructive surgery options for spinal cord injury patients as a part of a
multidisciplinary team. I also spearheaded an educational course for trainees across southern California to teach
the safe and effective use of fillers and neurotoxins such as Botox in facial rejuvenation. Meanwhile, I am excited to provide
reconstructive breast surgery for patients after mastectomy or lumpectomy, including oncoplastic options, primarily at Hoag Hospital in Irvine and Newport Beach,
and at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center.
I routinely also provide services at La Veta Surgery Center in Orange, Children's Hospital of Orange County, and St. Joseph's Hospital in Orange.
In addition to plastic surgery, I also love making web sites and educating trainees and the public about plastic surgery!
