abdominal reconstruction
Case 1: The patient had a large ventral hernia and draining fistula from her bowel after multiple previous abdominal surgeries, and we also performed a components separation (advancing her rectus muscles to the midline for support of her abdominal wall) and gave her a belly button.
Case 2: The patient had a large ventral hernia that required repair, and we performed a panniculectomy because she was symptomatic from excessive overhanging skin.
